The Safari Group is a family-owned group present in several economic sectors of the Kingdom, through companies that are all leaders in their respective fields and balanced between industry and distribution: industry (wood panels and derivatives, furniture manufacturing, reinforced concrete structures, concrete and steel floors, ready-mixed concrete, metallurgical products, plaster and derivatives, yeast and baking enhancers, automotive fabrics, water and electricity meters) and distribution (premium automotive brands, agricultural equipment, chemical and laboratory products, and services in logistics).

The Safari Group was founded by the late Mohammed Karim Lamrani in the 1940s.  Mohammed Karim Lamrani established a corporate culture based on work and values of morality, transparency, loyalty, and rigor.

The current leaders of the Group are the founder's children : Saïda Lamrani Karim and Hassan Lamrani Karim, who serve as the Group's Chief Executive Officer and Vice President, respectively. They embody the values passed down from their father and have contributed to building a healthy and solid group.

The Group thus prioritizes, for each of its companies, a long-term vision, total financial independence, and sustained development.

The Group's activities are based on long-standing partnerships with global leaders in their respective fields, including:

  • Partnership with Knauf, a world leader in the plaster industry.
  • Partnership with AB Mauri, one of the leaders in yeast and bakery ingredients.
  • Partnerships with Itron and Inhemeter in the manufacturing of water and electricity meters.
  • Partnerships with automotive manufacturers such as BMW, JLR, Mazda, and Mahindra.
  • Partnerships with agricultural machinery manufacturers such as Massey Ferguson, Landini, and McCormick.
  • Partnership with Tesca, a global manufacturer of textiles and seat components for automobiles.
  • Partnership with Rhenus, a German leader in logistics services.
  • Partnership with Agilent, a world leader in the fields of life sciences (biomedical research, biotechnology, and genomic studies), diagnostics (solutions for clinical diagnostics and pathology), and applied markets.

After several years of consolidating its activities and organic growth, the Safari Group is now adopting a proactive approach to external development to accelerate its growth in Morocco and initiate its expansion internationally.

In this regard, the Group has embarked on a new real estate development activity in Morocco in partnership with a leading player in the sector.

Furthermore, in 2022, the Group, through its subsidiary Cema-Bois de l’Atlas, specializing in the production of wood panels, acquired the assets of a company in France, CBA Meubles, which operates in the manufacture of ready-to-assemble furniture.
