The Smeia Group (Société Méditerranéenne de l'Industrie Automobile), which includes the companies Smeia, Ryad Auto, and Jama Auto, has more than fifty years of experience. It is the exclusive importer and distributor of the brands BMW, Mini, BMW Motorcycles, Land Rover, Jaguar, and Mazda.
The history of the Smeia Group began with a passionate team and manufacturers who trusted it. Over the years, through significant investments and a solid sales network covering major cities in the Kingdom—coupled with customer proximity services that establish trust in sales and after-sales, as well as technological mastery and continuous innovation—the Smeia Group has become a major player in the Moroccan automotive sector.
The Smeia Group boasts the largest showroom and exhibition hall in Africa, has already surpassed the sale of seven thousand vehicles, and continues to expand its sales network with the inauguration of new showrooms and after-sales service sites, along with an increase in its sales force.
The Smeia Group network consists of eight sites:
- Casablanca Moulay Slimane, covering an area of 33,000 m²
- Casablanca Ba Hmad, covering an area of 11,000 m²
- Rabat Hay Ryad, covering an area of 5,847 m²
- Rabat El Youssoufia, covering an area of 3,857 m²
- Tangier, covering an area of 5,579 m²
- Marrakech Route de Fès, covering an area of 4,984 m²
- Fès, covering an area of 9,850 m²
- Oujda, covering an area of 20,000 m²
As a major player in the Moroccan economic scene, the Smeia Group is regularly called upon to participate in numerous prestigious events, whether cultural, social, sporting, or environmental: official partner of the United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP 22) in Marrakech, official transporter for the Marrakech International Film Festival, official transporter for the 48th Hassan II Golf Trophy, etc.
