Somadir, the Moroccan leader in the production and marketing of fresh and dry yeast and baking improvers, was established in 1938.
In order to best meet customer demands for product quality and service, Somadir has embarked on a significant investment program that has led to the automation of all its industrial equipment and facilities, aligning its manufacturing process with the most advanced international technological standards.
Somadir employs 455 people across two sites. The first is located in Casablanca and covers a total area of 48,000 m², while the second is in El Jadida and spans 83,000 m².
With a distribution fleet consisting of one hundred thirty-eight vehicles and fifty three-wheelers, the sales representatives traverse the seventeen agencies of the company spread across the entire Kingdom.
Moreover, it is worth noting that Somadir currently has the largest production capacity of yeast in Africa, and international development is one of the company's strategic axes.
Indeed, the expertise and nearly century-long reputation that make Somadir a flagship of the Moroccan industry allow its products to be present today in several countries in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
